MATERIALS

1. High Density Polyethylene (HDPE)
   This material is used for the following:
   
   • Dust covers eg liners in boxes
     
   HDPE has good barrier properties therefore good for use as
   
   • Drum liners: as liners in drums for example to store adhesives, fruit juices and paint
   
   The minimum HDPE can be manufactured in is 10 micron.
   
   
2. Low & Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE & LDPE)
   This material is used for general purpose packaging product as it is a high clarity material.
   This material is used for the following:
   
• Butcher bags
  
• Fruit and Vegetable bags
  
• Hamper bags
  
• Ice bags
  
• Cake bags
  
  
  
3. Polypropylene Bags
   This is a high clarity material which can be used for food, cards as well as for packaging socks, shirts, stockings and ties.
   We manufacture these bags with self-adhesive tape strips both tamper-proof (permanent) and re-sealable.
   Further applications: bags with multiple divisions and lip bags with self-adhesive tape.

The above mentioned are all standard stock lines.

PRODUCTS

1. Shrinkfilm
   This material is used to shrinkwrap products in bulk eg a six pack.
   There are various types of shrinkfilm dependant on its application.
   
   • Non-slip: (for bulk stacking purposes)
     
   • Medium-slip: (for general purposes & stacking)
     
   • Hi-slip: (for specific purposes)
   
   This material is used in the manufacture of shrink bags or sleeves where the product can be
   individually wrapped.
   
   
2. Anti-Static
   Anti-static is an additive blended into the material. This is used in the electronic and precious
   metal industries. The quantity used defines its lifespan.
   
   
3. UV Stabiliser
   This can be manufactured on request depending on the client's requirements.
   
   
4. Flame Retardant
   Flame Retardant is an additive blended into the material. This is used in the mining industry.
   
   
5. Food Packaging
   We manufacture food packaging in the material type that complies with FNDA Regulation 177.1520
   accordingly this material may be used in all food contact applications (except holding food during
   cooking)
   
   
6. Sheeting, Tubing or Centre-fold Sheeting
   These can be manufactured in HDPE and LDPE
   
   
7. Form, Fill and Seal
   
   
8. Gusseted Bags
   
   
9. Double Seal Ice Bags
   These bags are sealed at the top and at the bottom.
   
   
10. Bags with a lip
